Atlanta INtown and friends gathered at Oakland Cemetery on a pretty afternoon (a break from all the rain!) for a Reader and Advertiser Appreciation Party. Oakland is rich with history starting with the Civil War and is the final resting place for famous Atlantans such as Bobby Jones and Margaret Mitchell. It is a peaceful place to walk, learn something new on a tour and finish with a great meal at one of the nearby restaurants, like Agave. For more information, visit www.OaklandCemetery.com. Many thanks to Foxgloves & Ivy for the flowers, Mediterranean Grill for providing the delicious food, Winston McFarlane from Vision Music for his performances and Horizon Theater for bringing Crumpet from SantaLand Diaries to mix and mingle.
