Andy Bauman has officially joined the race for the District 6 seat on the City Council.
The seat is open this year. The current representative, Karen Meinzen-McEnerny has decided against seeking reelection.
The election is Nov. 5. Qualifying ends on Aug. 30. The qualifying fee is $750 for mayoral candidates and $360 for city council candidates.
