Screen Shot 2014-06-24 at 10.33.19 AMThe Atlanta Police Department has released sketches of a male and female involved in an armed pedestrian robbery in the Old Fourth Ward.

On June 15 around 4:30 a.m., a male and female robbed two pedestrians near 486 Decatur St. The victims advised that they had been standing outside the location talking when they were approached by a black male and black female both armed with handguns. The perpetrators demanded the victim’s belongings and fled in an early 2000 model gold or silver sedan.

The female was described as dark complexioned, approximately 5’10” tall, thin build, red bangs, in her 30s with facial piercings. The male was described as light complexioned, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin build, in his 20s and wearing a red shirt.

Investigators believe that these perpetrators may be involved in several other pedestrian robberies in this same area and are asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers. Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
