BikeLanesThree new bike projects will begin in early fall, which will see new bicycle lanes from Downtown to Midtown, upgrades to existing lanes and phase 2 of the 10th Street Cycle Track.

In partnership with the City of Atlanta, Midtown Alliance is implementing the projects with a total budget of $400,000. All design and construction drawings have been approved by the city and construction is anticipated to begin in early fall and to be completed by the end of the year.

Peachtree Street Facilities: Bike lanes from Peachtree Center Avenue to Pine Street and sharrows from Pine Street to West Peachtree Street.

5th Street Bike Lanes: Upgrade existing bike lanes from Williams Street to Piedmont Avenue with pavement patching and markings, signage and intersection treatments.

10th Street Cycle Track: Phase 2 will extend the existing two-way cycle track on 10th Street between Monroe Drive and Charles Allen Drive farther west to Myrtle Street, and construct a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at Myrtle Street to improve bike and pedestrian safety.
