The Atlanta Police Department has released surveillance camera footage of a robbery at Brown Middle School in West End where bandits made off with more than 100 computers. The robbery happened in the early morning hours of Aug. 17.
The video shows the four men making several trips up and down hallways carrying the computer equipment. According to the police report, an officer responding to a vandalism call at the school around 4 a.m. found several computer carts just outside a door, while another office spotted computer cabinets on nearby sidewalk.
Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at (404) 577-8477 online at crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Tipsters do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
