Atlanta police are trying to track down the person who fired shots inside the lobby of Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema on Wednesday night. Witnesses told police that the premiere was for the movie Finesse, a comedy about bumbling con artists, starring several local actors.

One of the starts of the film told our media affiliate CBS46, that actors were signing autographs in the lobby when the gunfire began.

Two people were shot, according to Officer John Chafee, an Atlanta Police Department spokesman. A bullet grazed a woman in the leg. Another struck a man in the buttocks. Chafee did not immediately identify the victims, but said they were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Police worked into the morning Wednesday interviewing witnesses and searching for the shooter.
