The Andrews Entertainment District in Buckhead, home of the Atlanta Improv comedy club, is closing at the end of the year, ajc.com is reporting.

Stephen de Haan, president of the Andrews Entertainment District, told ajc.com that the facility is closing after 15 years. The space includes the stand-up comedy club, but also a sports bar, a dance club, a lounge, a pizzeria and other bars and restaurants, ajc.com reported.

Edens, a South Carolina-based developer, lists on its webpage plans for a shopping center called Andrews Square at the East Andrews address.
