Plans to renovate the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe MARTA station into a transit oriented development are now being discussed in public forums.
MARTA and developers officials are holding meetings in city districts this month as they seek community input and try to answer questions. A packed meeting at City Hall took place Feb. 2.
MARTA envisions transforming the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe station into a “town center” to include condominiums, street-level retail, a park and possibly the city’s library.
