The Roof at Ponce City Market will open to the public this summer with Slater Hospitality concepts Nine Mile Station, a beer garden, and Skyline Park, featuring boardwalk-style games and amusements inspired by Coney Island.
Nine Mile Station will have an indoor/outdoor space for guests to enjoy modern beer garden culinary offerings and spirits, complemented by a panoramic view of the Atlanta skyline. At the adjacent Skyline Park, visitors can play a round of miniature golf, test their luck at old-time boardwalk-style games and partake in amusement rides, including a Heege tower and a slide built into the iconic rooftop sign. An elevated concessions menu complete with snow cones, gourmet hot dogs and more will round-out the attraction.
The Roof will officially open to the public over the course of summer 2016. Once launched, guests will arrive at the space by way of a manually operated freight elevator, original to the Sears, Roebuck & Co. building.
