Atlanta-based housing nonprofit CaringWorks, has announced its second annual Richard Mackelfresh All-Star Jam to End Homelessness on Nov. 21 at the Chapel on Sycamore in Decatur.

Performances include the Richard Mackelfresh All-Star Jam Band and local favorite, These Crowded Streets. Guests will enjoy an evening of dancing, an open bar, and a catered dinner from Fox Bros BBQ. Supporters and sponsors will also receive exclusive perks such as event t-shirts and free parking.

‘This very special evening will be a celebration, an invitation and a challenge to the community to come together to enjoy the fun and importantly impact those who just need a little help getting back on their feet,” said event organizer, CaringWorks board member, and sponsor Richard Mackelfresh.

Proceeds will fund CaringWorks’ critical programs and services, including access to housing, mental health care, addiction treatment and employment assistance.

“Everyone deserves access to safe, affordable housing and the opportunity to rebuild their lives,” said Carol Collard, founder and CEO of CaringWorks. “This event will not only raise crucial funds but also celebrate our community’s collective impact in helping individuals achieve lasting stability.”

CaringWorks has served individuals and families throughout metro Atlanta for over 20 years, assisting nearly 1,000 people each year in securing stable housing and support services.
