
Fulton County’s Community Development Department and Fulton County Schools want residents to participate in separate surveys to generate input on community needs and services.
County wants public input on 5-year plan
Fulton County’s Community Development Department wants county residents’ input to help shape its 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan.
The plan will identify and prioritize needs in housing, homelessness, community development, public services, and economic development, according to a news release.
The consolidated plan will establish clear goals and objectives to address these community needs. It will guide how community development funds will be allocated over the next five years. A short video explains the process.
The news release said community input is crucial to ensure county priorities align with community needs. Feedback can be made through a survey offered in English and en Español. The deadline is Oct. 31.

FCS presents annual perception survey
Fulton County Schools (FCS) wants parents, staff, students, and stakeholders to share their thoughts and opinions in the school district’s annual perception survey.
An FCS news release said the anonymous online survey is an important tool for parents and guardians to provide feedback about their experiences with the district. Individuals may complete one survey. Each parent may complete one survey for a school with one or more of their children enrolled. The survey will remain open through Friday, Nov. 22.
The school district wants staff and students’ opinions also. Students in grades 3-12 and FCS staff will be given the opportunity to take the voluntary annual student perception survey and annual staff Perception Survey from Oct. 28 – Nov. 1 during school.
The news release said the survey is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (simplified), Korean Hindi, and Punjabi. An FCS webpage dedicated to this initiative has Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), examples of student surveys, and translation instructions.
