Resident monks take a break and enjoy a quiet moment in a park behind the monastery.

The Drepung Loseling Monastery welcomed the community to its fifth annual festival on Nov. 4 in Brookhaven. Activities included guided meditation, food, music, dance, games, a Tibetan Bazaar, children’s arts and crafts, door prizes, and a live performance by the monks of the Mystical Arts of Tibet.

Tsepak Rigzin, resident scholar, gives a docent tour to those attending the festival.
