AFD_LogoThe first Atlanta Field Day is set to kick off this Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Westminister Presbyterian Church, 1438 Sheridan Road. AFD is a team-based charitable event with all donations and proceeds going to Chris Kids, an Atlanta-based youth outreach program.

Registration is free and limited to adults (18+), but all age groups are welcome to come out this Saturday and enjoy a day of fun, with events such as tug-o-war, obstacle course, three-legged race, sack hop, 50- and 100-yard dash, and more, all for a good cause.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and participants take to the field at 9:30, with a 3 p.m. afterparty at Woof’s Sports Bar, where prizes will be given and winners announced. To build or join a team, or simply to volunteer or donate to an existing team, check out the Atlanta Field Day website for more information.
