Austin 5th grader wins DeKalb District 4 spelling bee, Vanderlyn student in second

Several people in blue shirts are standing on the float, holding up signs with different messages such as "SPORTS & RECREATION", "WHERE U CAN", and "NIGHT TO SHINE". These appear to be promoting various church programs or activities. The float is part of what seems to be a Fourth of July or other patriotic parade, given the color scheme and decorations. There are spectators visible on the sides of the road, including some children dressed in patriotic colors.
