Roam, located in the heart of the Perimeter business district, offers a 16,250-square-foot collection of meeting space, work niches, access to high-tech equipment, and even a coffee shop.
Veterans Park will honor those who served in both World Wars, the Korean and Vietnam wars, and recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It will include a walled, contemplative garden, a water feature, seating area and other ammenities.
Perimeter residents could see more mixed-use developments like this one, known as Town Brookhaven. The Peachtree Road development includes shops and restaurants on the ground floor and apartments above.
Dunwoody Economic Development Director Michael Starling said dense mixed-use development often makes economic sense.
“As values of property increase, those empty parking lots just become very valuable. To unleash that value, they need to be developed,” Starling said.
