1. Meet our 20 Under 20 honorees for 2025

? Rough Draft presents our 16th annual 20 Under 20 honorees for 2025. As in past years, we are in awe of these students’ abilities to juggle their education while giving back to the community in such meaningful ways.

We were also in awe of the record number of nominations this year – more than 100 from across the Metro area. From creating nonprofits and fundraising, to flying airplanes into disaster zones, to creating online platforms to bring people together, this year’s honorees have gone above and beyond to bring positivity and leadership to the community.

While narrowing down this year’s honorees and runners-up was the toughest ever, we think these students will inspire and motivate you to give back to your communities, too.

2. Souper Jenny leaving Brookhaven for Chamblee

? After 10 years of feeding customers in Brookhaven, soup-and-sandwich cafe Souper Jenny is moving to a stand-alone location in Chamblee this summer.

Souper Jenny serves seasonal soups, salads, and sandwiches made with locally grown ingredients. It also has locations in Decatur, Westside, Roswell, and at the Atlanta History Center. The original location opened in 1999 on East Andrews Drive in Buckhead, before relocating in 2016 to the Atlanta History Center.

Restaurant owner Jennifer Levison (pictured) told Rough Draft that Souper Jenny purchased a building at 4847 Peachtree Rd. in Chamblee, just over a mile from the current Brookhaven location.

Directed by Tony Award nominee Lileana Blain-Cruz, “Bust” is described as a genre-blending drama that tackles the complexities of community, conflict, and the enduring impact of historical racism.
